Our Little Fashionista

As you can see, Katelyn has become very good at dressing herself. She definitely has her own style and the more accesories the better. It's all about the flair, but like Tim Gunn says...she "Make's it Work" in her own way! We can thank Mama Peep for the fur coat. It is her new go to accessory when dressing up.

The other day Mike and I got Katelyn her very own big girl bed. It just made more sense to move her into a big bed instead of buying another crib mattress for the little guy. This is one of the first times that I have actually gotten really emotional about her getting so old so fast. It just hit me that she's almost 3...where has the time gone?

After reading all the books we decided to move her over before the baby came so that she could "adjust" without associating the change with the baby. As usual, Katelyn doesn't follow the books at all. Not only did she adjust perfectly after one naptime, but she was so excited to give her mattress to the baby that she actually helped me make his crib. (Pictures of the newly decorated baby's room to appear shortly. It is soooooo cute!) Nap and bed times have become so much easier since we got her this new bed because she can't wait to lay down in her big girl princess bed. Thank goodness for that because it will come in handy when the baby comes.
