This year we decided to take a last minute trip to AZ to visit my mom and maybe see some thunderstorms. Of course, as Mike's luck would have it, the storms blew out the day we arrived and blew back in the day after we left. We did get to spend time with my sister and her family which was a total added bonus. The kids have so much fun playing together. We took the kids on a replica train ride someone has in Show Low and Katelyn just loved it!
On the way home we also went to Bearizona. It is a drive-through wild animal park in Williams. After you get passed the Jurassic Park feel of the whole thing, it is really cool. They have all types of animals and are expected to get a bunch more in the next 18 months. Besides the bears that practically walk right up to the car, Katelyn's favorite part was the tattoos they put on her at the end.
Then we went into town and ate dinner on the patio with live music. Katelyn just loves to dance and was putting on a show for all the patrons around us. Even after I made her sit down she was still swaying to the music. What can I say, she's got rhythm in her bones. :)
