We recently signed Katelyn up for a flag football league. I know, she's a girl, but that's what's so awesome. She asked us if she could play with all of her preschool friends and a majority of those are boys. Katelyn and Kai-Lynn, her best friend according to Katelyn, are the only two girls in the whole league and they are just so cute! Last Saturday was Katelyn's first "actual" game and it was so much fun to watch.
We started off the day with the breakfast of champions...
Special football pancakes and eggs.
Then we got to the game and it was time to warm up...they are just so cute.
Katelyn has such great form when running with the ball. She actually looks in this picture like she knows what she's doing. :)
She brought along her own personal cheering squad. Ryan and Daddy had so much fun watching sister run and run.
Here's a clip of her in the game. Watch how all the kids still tackle the runner and try and get the flag even after the play is over. It is so cute!!!
If you ask Katelyn though, her favorite part of the game is taking a water break. She likes to relax and watch the other kids. Can't blame her for being honest! :)
