The "Super Special Surprise"

ast Sunday we decided to load Katelyn up in the car and drive to Magic Mountain for a "Super Special Surprise"...her words, not ours. We drive by the park all the time so she didn't think anything of it until the roller coasters kept getting closer and closer and closer.

At first she wasn't sure what to think of all the rides and people, but after a few rides with daddy, we couldn't keep her off of them.

Then she wanted to be Little Miss Independent and go on the rides all by herself. I think that I was more nervous than she was but she was having so much fun.

Don't worry...I took that picture so that it would make the ride look much taller than it was. :)
This was her absolute favorite ride beause it went to the top and then bounced back and forth up the tower. Everytime the ride stopped she would say "Can we go again?". A couple times the operator would just start the ride over so that all the kids could ride over again. After we finally peeled her off this ride, we moved on to the Percy the Train Roller Coaster. Notice our little daredevil with her arms up in the very back of the train. I think daddy might have taught her that one.

Our intention was to only spend a couple hours at the park and then leave for a nap, but Katelyn wasn't having that. We ended up staying at the park from the time it opened to the time it closed. It was a totally fun day for everyone and she slept really good that night...always a good thing.
