Pancakes and Cars

Katelyn's new favorite food for a weekend breakfast is pancakes. She especially loves daddy's apple cinnamon pancakes. There is one catch though...she doesn't like the typical butter and syrup on top. Instead she ops for frosting and sprinkles. She loves decorating them just like you would a cupcake and then licking all the frosting off before eating them. To each their own. :)

The other thing that we discovered this weekend is daddy's amazing collection of cars. Mike has been saving his childhood car collection for someday when he had kids that were old enough to play with them and I guess that we're there. Katelyn has been playing with them non stop and even has names for most of them. I just think that it is so cool that they can play with them together and make new memories.

Okay, so this next picture has nothing to do with either pancakes or cars, but I just had to share it. Living in southern California you don't get to see snow that often, but with all of the storms that we had this past week we got to enjoy one of the most beautiful sights. The picture below was taken from our backyard. I just think it is so cool that we can say we live among the snow covered mountains.
