Sunny and 70 Degrees

So while some of you may be sitting in snow or dealing with really cold weather...it is January 4th here and we are hanging out at the beach in t-shirts and bare feet. I knew there was a reason I loved living here. Just kidding...we're not trying to brag, we actually can't believe it but we have to take advantage of the beautiful weather while it lasts.

This video is of Katelyn chasing after the seagulls...little did she know they'd come right after her. (If you listen close enough you can hear her scream.)

I had to show this picture because it is proof that I have learned to lighten up and just let Katelyn go crazy and have fun when we are at the beach. I use to worry about every little speck of sand ending up in every little crack and crevice but now I am okay with that...after all, isn't that what showers are for. Maybe I just realized it's a never ending battle so why fight it. :)

Mike also caught this adorable moment on film. Katelyn is really into wanting to know what her little brother is doing inside mommy's belly and always wants to make sure that he is happy and having fun. She also loves to feel him kick and move. In this picture she was asking him if he liked the beach as much as she did. He kicked so I think that was a yes. At least boys don't have as many cracks to clean as girls. :)
