Today Mike surprised us by taking the day off so that we could have a "Snow Day". It's not often that it snows in the mountains in our backyard so we had to take advantage of the recent storms in Southern California. As we drove farther and farther into the mountains, this is what we came upon and when Katelyn saw it, she said "It looks like Christmas Momma." My heart just melted. She couldn't wait to get out of the car and put on her new snow suit. Look at our little snow bunny.
As soon as we hit the snow all she wanted to do was go sledding. She started off on a small hill and then proceeded to talk her daddy into going down a big hill. She did great and laughed her head off the whole time.
I would have to say though that I think her favorite part was throwing snowballs at her daddy.
It was the best day and we can't wait to do it again. Thank you Mike!
