Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night

This happens to be Katelyn's favorite new phrase. She walks around the house saying it to everyone she sees and all her toys. It is quite cute!

The other thing that she has discovered is the power of mistletoe. We got some the other day at the grocery store and now she walks around holding it over her head so that everyone has to give her kisses on the cheek.

This year we also attempted to decorate our first official gingerbread house. Katelyn licked every candy before placing it on the house and ate more frosting than actually made it on the house...but we had a lot of fun decorating it. Here is the finished product.

Along with mistletoe and gingerbread houses we also got our Starbucks and then walked around and looked at Christmas lights. This is one of our favorite traditions. Look at Katelyn's tricked out ride. Her and daddy decorated the wagon so that it would look festive while looking at lights.

Christmas morning was a blast this year because Katelyn actually seemed to understand the whole concept of Santa. We left out cookies and milk for Santa and of course carrots for the reindeer. She woke up so excited to see if Santa had eaten the cookies and if he had stuffed the stockings. Here is a little video of her reaction to the present that Santa left.
